Iraqi Ambassador Participates in the Opening of the Iraqi Medical Conference in Dubai
His Excellency Dr. Muzaffar Mustafa Al-Jubouri, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the United Arab Emirates, participated in the opening of the second session of the “Iraqi Medical Conference” held at the Mohammed bin Rashid Library in Dubai, on Saturday 25/1/2025. The conference was held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and Supreme President of the Emirates Genetic Diseases Association. The conference was organized by the Emirates Genetic Diseases Association, and focused on reviewing the latest developments in the medical fields, including main topics such as medical genomics and its role in personalized medicine and treatment of genetic diseases, applications of artificial intelligence in diagnosis and treatment, and the Internet of Health to enhance remote monitoring of patients’ health.
The conference included a ceremony to distribute the “Bau Award”, which aims to honor creativity and innovation in the health sector, while highlighting the distinguished Iraqi competencies that have contributed to improving and developing the quality of health care.
This event reflects the close cooperation between Iraq and the UAE in the fields of medicine and scientific research, and emphasizes the importance of strengthening regional and international partnerships in the health field.
