Following analysis, this stage focuses on result reporting, where findings are communicated effectively to relevant parties for further action or decision-making.
Analytical Process
This phase involves the reception of samples and the operation of machinery within the Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics departments. It also includes the utilization of Laboratory Information Systems and relevant Lab Quality Management Systems to streamline processes and ensure accuracy.
Program Learning Outcomes
- Execute all assigned laboratory tasks in adherence to the established competencies of the profession.
- Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), protocols, and safety guidelines to ensure the practice of safe laboratory procedures.
- Validate pertinent data and contribute to ensuring the collection of appropriate specimens according to established SOPs.
- Process specimens sourced from diverse origins in accordance with established SOPs
- Perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical procedures on specimens from various sources following established SOPs.
- Utilize diverse analyzers for medical laboratory testing using approved methods, adhering to laboratory standards and established procedures.
- Adhere to quality assurance policies and procedures and actively engage in quality assurance initiatives.
Training Application Requirements
Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) detailing personal information, educational qualifications, interests, and achievements.
Two Letters of Recommendation from university professors.
Valid passport and valid UAE visa (For locals: Family Book).
College/University Transcripts.
