The institute stated in a press release that discussions were held regarding areas of collaboration between “Dusmann for Diabetes,” established by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences, and the Emirates Genetic Diseases Association, to exchange expertise in the medical, research, and academic fields, as well as to foster mutual cooperation between the two entities.
It was noted that the meeting followed a previous encounter on the sidelines of the 7th International Conference on Genetic Disorders, organized by the Emirates Genetic Diseases Association in Dubai in November. During this conference, Dusmann Institute was honored for receiving the UAE International Award for Genetic Disorder Prevention in 2018.
